How to Make a Payment

At Fastwork, payments are made upfront before the freelancer starts working. But don’t worry, your money won’t go directly to the freelancer. Instead, it will be securely held in an escrow system. Once the freelancer delivers the work and you approve it, the funds will be released to the freelancer.

 

⚠️ Important: A freelancer must first send you a work quotation in PDF format via chat. If the freelancer hasn’t sent one yet, kindly ask them to do so. If they are unsure how to send a quotation, direct them to this page: How to Send a Work Quotation.

Steps to Make a Payment

1. Check the quotation
   Ensure the freelancer has already sent a work quotation in the chat. Once received, a payment button will appear (as shown in the image below).
2. Click “Pay”
   You’ll be redirected to the confirmation page (see example image).
3. Confirm the quotation
   Tick the box “I have read and agreed to the above Work Quotation” and click “Submit Quotation”
4. Review payment details
   The payment amount will be displayed (see example image).

5. If you have a discount coupon, you can apply it here. For more details, see: How to Use a Coupon. If you don’t have a coupon, just click “Proceed to Payment”. 

6. Choose a payment method
   You will see multiple payment options (see image):
7. Each method comes with detailed step-by-step instructions. Simply select your preferred method, and the instructions will appear.
8. Complete the payment
   Once the payment is successful, the order status will automatically change to “In Progress”, and the freelancer can start working as agreed.
