Fastlance Order Protection and Cancellation Policy
When using the Fastlance platform, you are protected and supported throughout all stages of collaboration. Fastlance serves as a secure intermediary for financial transactions.
Order cancellations are only accepted when the order status is “Working” After a cancellation request is submitted, our team will review the reasons from both parties via the platform.
Evidence Reviewed by the Team
Freelancer Quotation: Freelancers must provide complete details about the work, including the type of work, expected deliverables, special conditions, exceptions (if any), and any additional costs.
Chat Messages on the Platform: Although parties may communicate outside the platform after payment, using the platform chat allows our team to review and ensures transparency for both parties.
Work Progress: Whether the project is completed or not, the team will evaluate the quality and progress to make a decision.
Cancellation Reasons from the buyer
Freelancer Not Responding: If the freelancer disappears during the project or misses deadlines, the buyer can report it for prompt handling. If the freelancer still does not respond, the buyer may request a 100% refund.
Freelancer Unable to Continue: If the freelancer cannot complete the work due to personal reasons, the buyer has the right to request a refund. Note: Freelancers canceling for this reason may be restricted from taking future orders.
Mismatch with Quotation: If the results do not match the initial agreement, both parties should negotiate revisions. If no agreement is reached, report to Fastlance.
For the above three reasons, if the fault is on the freelancer, they will be penalized according to the Terms of Service.
Unsatisfactory Quality: If the results are below expectations, the parties should negotiate corrections first. If still unsatisfactory, the buyer may report it to Fastlance for review.
Buyer Changes Mind: If the buyer cancels within the agreed timeframe, our team will consider the progress and reasons provided.
Cancellation Reasons from the Freelancer
Buyer Not Responding: If the buyer becomes unresponsive before the delivery date, the freelancer must notify Fastlance immediately.
Change in Requirements: If the buyer adds requests or changes the brief after payment that prevent the freelancer from continuing, both parties should discuss additional fees or adjustments. If no agreement is reached, the freelancer should report to Fastlance.
Freelancer Unable to Continue: (Same as above.)
Approval Conditions
Work quality will be assessed based on the comparison with the freelancer’s portfolio and the initial agreement.
If both parties agree to have Fastlance mediate, the team may request additional evidence (e.g., off-platform transactions or draft work).
If one party fails to provide evidence or explanation, the decision will be based on information from the other party.
Intellectual Property Rights
If the buyer receives a full refund, they lose the right to use the delivered product. Copyright remains with the freelancer, and any unauthorized use will be considered a violation.
If the freelancer has received payment, the product’s copyright transfers to the buyer.
Important Note
Fastlance’s decision regarding refunds and payment handling is final.
