Canceling an order on Fastwork is simple. However, before starting the process, make sure both parties (client and freelancer) have discussed and agreed on the percentage of payment to be received by each side. This will make the verification process much faster ⚡
Steps to Cancel an Order
1. Initiate the Cancellation
Via Website (Desktop): Click the “Request Cancel Order” button on the right side of the chat page.
Via App (Mobile): Open the chat page → tap the 📄 document icon in the top right corner → scroll down and select “Request Cancel Order”.
2. Fill Out the Cancellation Form
State the reason for cancellation.
Enter the agreed percentage of payment.
(Optional) Upload supporting evidence such as conversations or work done outside the system.
3. Verification Process
Once submitted, the other party has 72 hours to respond.
If both sides agree to continue the project, the initiator can withdraw the cancellation request.
4. Review by Fastwork Team
The Fastwork team will process the request within 5–7 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
The verification result will be sent via email or through the order chat page.
